Picked up a sporter trainwreck 1944 Izzy m44 w/ matching #'s. ATI black stock w/ misdrilled scope mount, no bolt handle and ATI replacement handle. Previous owner didn't want original stock and bayo....so he threw away. Plugged and re-drilled mount, put new handle on and reset in stock with some work. He said it didn't shoot straight. Paid him $50, put a Burris scope on, and brought a deer home on it's first hunt. Then I picked up a nice shooting 1940 Izzy 91/30 matching #s for $50 on the way home. Looking for a nice m-44 or a laminated m-44 and then a Finn. This has all happend since I came down with Mosinitis about a month ago. I don't shoot my other "non-mosin" guns anymore.

Fitterman24, Welcome to G&G and sorry about the mosinitis. We all know what you are talking about. When I Contracted Mosinitis, I bought three rifles with in a week. Now, I am close to leading the count with 14 rifles. They are a blast to shoot!

Also, a word of caution.....stay away from other mil surp rifles. Mosinitis makes you VERY weak to these diseases. Especially deadly is Black Rifle Disease. I thought i would never catch it....until......

Just bought a 1934 "Izzy" 91/30 a few weeks ago. Just replaced the missing bolt head and 500 rds of ammo should be arriving today.

Pics as soon as I get the gumption to take pics and upload them.
