Add a 1943 Tula 91/59 to the list!
I now have 4: A 1925 Tula hex M91, a 1942 Izzy M44, and a 1945 M38 (Can't remember arsenal).

Wife says this is all I am allowed to have.

Thanks for the welcome in Swede. Been lurking around the forum unregistered for awhile and it feels like I know some of you. Thought maybe I better register before someone mistakes me for a prowler. Some of these mosins have pretty good range.

As for snow, I realize when someone says California, beaches and bikinis come to mind (not to mention restrictive gun laws) but up here at 3600' I've got a foot or so of snow in my yard and a whole bunch more in the higher terrain. Probably not so much by your standards up in the frozen north but we still get a burried here from time to time.

Anyhoo, thanks again. I look forward to being part of the community.

What are you talking about? It says M38. Did you change the quote to try to get me riled up?

I got three more.

Two are 91/30's, one is a 1938 all matching Tula and the other is a 1939 Izzy with a Laminate stock all metal matching.

The third is a pretty nice M44.

I'm a newbie. Just got my first one, an M44 from Big 5 last month. It's in excellent condition with a laminated stock. Haven't had a chance to take it out to the range yet. It's only taken me a couple of weeks to acquire my second MN. Tomorrow I receive a 91/30 Hex in excellent condition from AIM. I've gotten several tins/cases of ammo (thanks for the informative and entertaining thread about opening ammo tins :-) during the last few months and will christen my MN's at the end of this month.

I just found this forum today and have lot's of catching up and learning to do.
