I've got a 1943 Izzy 91/30. The bore is just perfect. I'm not a crack shot by any means, but at 25 yds I put three holes on top of one another, and the other 2 within an inch. This means the gun is more accurate than I am, which pleases me.

Don't know what to pick up next....it just needs to be covered in cosmo!

WOW $175 seems to be high but I suppose if you gotta have it you got to have it.

Is it a rare model or is it the condition ?

It might be a regional thing. Here in southwest Georgia a M44 was $160.

OMG! Well I guess, since the election, everything gun related has drastically increased in price. I paid $79.99 for my Russian M-44 about three years ago.
This also seems to be the SOP with milsurp weapons in general. They're here en masse, they are cheap. Start drying up and prices go up, up, up and up some more.
The Yugo SKS's are a real good example of this. They started out in the sub-$100.00 range and I just saw one listed for $499.99.

out here in the west i saw a M44 for $80 and i got my m91/30 for $80. I have seen a really clean m91/30 for $90. So it is definitely regional.

A pawn shop here wanted $300. for a norinko chinese (He told me they were the best made) with OUT a magazine, bayonet, sling, cleaning kit, and it had a beat up stock. A guy in the paper was selling a norinco with "too many extras to list" fo $495. I hope they go back down to the pre-election price of around $135. for the russian ones.

Yeah, I BAWKED(!) when I saw it too. The thing was sitting in the rack smothered in about a 1/8" thick coat of cosmoline. You'd think for that price they'd at least wipe the bloody thing off. Jeesh!
The kicker is it was the same store I bought my Yugo from 2 years earlier for $169.00. That price was high at the time too.

1927 Izzy dbl date MO stamped

Well Swede... finally got to pick-up my 1927/53 Izzy, double dated MO stamped ex-dragoon. (add her to the list) Cost: $100 OTD. This beauty has so much cosmoline, I am considering canning it for resale. The rifling looks so strong in this baby should be dated 2007 instead of 1927. Not the best pics but you get the idea. I love her...
