Got a look at Kagome's other Mosin and it is a 1942 Izzy.. Barrel serials dont match the rest of the gun, but the rest match each other. Dunham's special that had a magic marker taken to it, fairly ugly under it... bit of pitting and whatnot, but she got it as a shooter so she doesnt mind.

I have a M91/59 here (pics by Monday)...dont be too mad that it is in a ati stock when I post it when I picked it up, the orginal wooden stock had been almost split in two by one crack, it appeared to be used as a club against a tank or something....so I will have my scout pics soon.

My New M44. Soviet 1944r dated. Hammer & Sickel stamped from Izhevsk arsenal. All Matching numbers, really clean and in great shape. Only downside, is it's counterbored, but, oh well.

And here's a few links for more pics:

I have 2 M44s. Don't know much about them except they shoot pretty good for what I paid for them.

Here are some pics of what I have.
Here's the first one.

This one is in better shape.

By using the link you provided I have found out that my "clean" rifle is Soviet and the rougher of the 2 is Hungarian. Thanks for the link.

The one with the 02 is Hungarian. I've got one just like it. I've also got a 1946 Izzy m44 as well. One of my nicer M44s.

As promised; pics of the mojo

This saturday I'm going to a gunshow and I'm going to try to find a good condition M44 and if I do find one its coming home with me. If I don't find one I'll just buy a bunch of milsurp and primers. If I do find one next gunshow I'm taking 1k with me and cleaning house. Buying all the primers and milsurp I can get.
