well i went to the gunshow today in houlton Me. there were 6 mosin nagants there. i picked up a 1942 tula 91/30 for 130 i had to pass on a 1917 remington they wanted 275 also another remington for 250 that was bubbad up

I just bought a 91/59. I was able to sell some items and get enough to get it. I also received my 800 rounds of ammo today which I had on order for a while. This was still in cosmoline. I paid a premium for it but when I saw it I had to have it. It is a 1944 Izhevsk. It has great rifling and really looks great.

1942 91/30 sniper clone... not counter bored, ATI stock, to keep OEM nice. Just got it zero'd in today.. had to float the barrel, but put 5rds touching @ 50yds with a 15mph crosswind.
Too windy to do a decent group at 100 bench rest.. 15mph crosswind with 20-25mph gusts.. makes it hard to aim(had a hard time keeping it on target)...LOL. but still pulled in a 4in group at 100.
Maybe next Wed will be calmer. Only my second time out with it.. and I'm absolutley in love with it.  | |
