The one on the end is a K98k I saved from bubba
Next to it are 2 1944 m44 izzys the first one is my shooter all matching but it had been shot when I bought it . The second is unissued unfired beautiful weapon .
Down in front is my 1931 Tula hex receiver 91/30 a tack driver at any distance . And one of my favorites in the vault .

| Mosin-Nagant owners
Hi, Another Mosin-Nagant owner to add to the list. Mine is a 1937 model and my dad returned it from Korea in'53 or '54. I polished it up and revarnished and began shooting it in high school. Started reloading it in '73(got married and not a lot of money). In Ak from '83~'89 and shot it a few times at Ft. Richardson and few times along coast and out in bush. Still shoots fair but ain't close to target grade. Lead bullets shoot real well and a little more accurately than the Combloc match grade ammo we found at Ft Rich. It shot as well as the SKS' which don't say alot. The issue scope was fogged and my dad had shot using it and killed a couple of coyotes, but it was never on a par w/the match M-14's we used at the time. I never cast the bore and throat and probably could've worked/sized something better as a load, just wasn't that interested in it. Be well, eat caribou and have a beer, E. Hart

1952 Polish M44... Everything but the bolt matches, which is only off by 311. Excellent condition and I was able to just hand over my C and R and walk out the door (after a small payment)..
I was slowly trying to pare down my M44 collection, and I bring another home..

Finally got around to getting that camera charger. First off, just ignore the hat in the first picture... yes, it's a hat, and when worn it looks like your head is getting eaten by some odd creature. It's just used to confirm that I actually own the rifle. Looks like quite a mismatching set of parts from being refurbished... Though I can't find a refurbishment mark on the stock... unless it's the 'X'. I thought it was a box with a line through it. Anyone care to comment on some of the stamps? Diamond with the 'E', the 'H' on the stock, 'X' on stock, or '5' on stock? The receiver tang has a similar five stamped on the top (I didn't get a picture of that one) The barrel is obviously a Tula, but nearly everything else is stamped Izhevsk, with the triangle and arrow. Kind of sucks that everything is mismatched, but the serials are all clean and deep stamped, matching. |

Threw a 91/30 and an M38 in the closet. Pulled out an M38, 91/30, AND a 91/59.
What were them two doing after I shut the door?

A while back I found this sek-c, 1943 Tula m91/30 Ex PU sniper in a midwar ex sniper tiger stripe stock. All matching, no line outs. Has a 3 digit ser# starting with 3xx and also has the CCCP stamp still on the stock! I also found an unissued correct bayo for it.Eventually,I plan on making it a sniper as it was originally...but the prices on original mounts and scopes are high and times are tough,so it will have to wait.
