| I think that speaks primarily to magazine capacity, more than anything else. How many total rounds did he shoot? Ad you must remember, no one was shooting back!

| alright next question for the mosin crew? i know that surplus ammo sometimes is plentiful and sometimes not. with my experience i have learned more scarce than anything else(7.62x54r). I want to get me a good case of milsurp just for stocking up . but also what are your opinions on what kind i should get. any of them good brass to reload? any advice is sweet. and finally, WHERE CAN I GET SOME(frustration)!!!!

| Try J&G Sales , Cheaper Than Dirt - America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter , AIMSurplus, your home for surplus ammunition, guns and firearms , etc. To my knowledge, boxer-primed surplus '54 R ammo is exceedingly rare. You might want to stick with Prvi Partizan (Wolf Gold) or S&B (Winchester), just for the reloadable brass.

| You can buy ammo to shoot, or buy new unprimed brass as well.

| I saw a program recently on the Military Channel about the British Royal Marines, and it was stressing how good they were at throwing down a hail of fire from a squad with Enfields, and how fast they could shoot them. It was pretty impressive. |

| Those poor Brits were getting plenty of practice with them during those years. It was either get good or die. Enfields are great rifles. But a lot of credit came to the Brit firing them.
