Question How do you sight in a m91/30

I now how to adjust the windege but it shootes like 12in hi at 200 yards. I think the frunt site pin has threds on it but I tride turning it with pliers and it dident move at all maby i need to try harder? or thers a tool I dont now about?

First, what kind of ammo are you shooting? What position are you shooting from, and are you sandbagged at the front and/or the rear?

The front sight is NOT threaded and non adjustable!!

Ther is a quick and easy fix to lengthen the front post ..Simply find a
peice of black insulation off of a number 12 electrical wire and slip it over the front sight and trim it if its a bit high you can adjust your rear site to compensate.. wont change value of the rifle and is reversable .. You can use anything that will slip over front site and not fall off ..

Marion is right on. And a great tip!

But just to cover the basics make sure the rear sight is adjusted all the way down.
