Nope, none of them were mine. And I wouldn't be caught dead in that hat in the picture just above my post. lol That coat aint doing the man much justice either I might add. Makes him look as if he got some junk in the trunk.

If you look real close and expand the frame of the above picture a little and photo shop the pic you will see the gal on the right has my m38 slung over her shoulder.

Good stuff. I bet there are zillions of "our fighting men (and women)" propaganda photos (as there were for all of the armed forces in WWII).

My dad was (career) Army, and my mom was a SPAR (Coast Guard).
