Moose

Moose once again braved snow, ice, hairpin turns, and errant goats to make his way to Los Anchorage. We hooked up and he was toting a Polish 22LR Trainer! A steal! We BS'd awhile and he wangled his way into another M39! The last I saw of him, he was headed out to get a permit to dredge for gold in Kamchatka or somewhere! He'll be back on tomorrow night as he is stopping over at a buddies house. It was good to see him in a scary kind of way! Reminds me of a guy I once met at the Skwetna Roadhouse!
Oh yeah, he asked me to say hi to all his Buddies!

Thanks for letting us know about you and Moose! I find it interesting how we get so close to people we only know from this site.

Sounds like you guys had a great time. Wish there was a way we all could get together for a BS session from time to time.

I think we should require two for that guy! There he is crying about not having a mosin and then talks about some other high priced thing that he wants first.

Nope, Marion, he does not have Mosinitis yet. But, if Arkansas gets infected then....well, just then. Maybe we should take up a collection and buy him one! Then send it to him COD anyway and have a party on the money we collected.

dont buy the next gun you are really thinking of .
instead buy 6 or 8 mosins.
then if it's ok with your mom you can come shooting . ok?

Heck, Billy, if you sit down and think about it...with Center fire systems having m44s on sale for 40 bucks...8 Mosins is only 320 dollars! That Ruger AH is talking about is surely MUCH more than 320. Plus, the ammo for Mosins is 18 cents a round. What else can one shoot that cheap??? Not much.

That is centerfire Steve! 40 bucks per rifle if you order 5 or more. They are apparently rough but for 40 bucks!

Refinish/clean up the best one and piece the others out or sell/trading stock at a gun show with a little clean-up? At the rangesomeone is always looking at them. Just say "Wanna but it?"
