I was in a foul mood most of the day. Told my Boss that and he said "welcome to my world".
Got home and had to get the edger running for my Dad.
Found my LumaPower Connexion 1AA Flashlight that had been missing for a couple days and my mood brightened up a bit!
It's not a "school" night so I feel even better!

I was in a Fowl mood last night myself! Cooked up 6 chicken leg quarters seasoned with herb and peppercorn seasoning mix. Baked in the oven uncovered at 350 until done. MAN, talking about finger lickin' good! Complimented with wild rice, fresh snap green beans and hot corn bread smeared in butter! Washed it down with a cold glass of milk... I am getting hungry all over again just thinking about it!!!!

Oldest daughter came home for the weekend. Hubby and 3 grandkids too. Total mayhem. Not one of the 8 people I fed even looked at the pile of dishes. Never mind washing one !!

I feel your pain, Swede! That exact reason is what I found the most frustrating about my last 6 years. Come holiday time not only did I have to spend all day cooking the holiday dinner both traditional and vegan but I had to clear the table, put away the food, and wash all the dishes. Oh, and don't forget about washing all the towels, table cloths napkins etc...because heaven forbid we use paper anything.....
But then this year, I went to a friend's house for Christmas dinner. I was pestering the cooks so much asking for something to do they gave me a large glass of Russian vodka on the rocks and told me to go sit by the fire in the basement! LOL! Turns out they knew I could cook and saw me as a threat to their culinary skills...I didn't know I was drunk, I just couldn't figure out why I was dropping things. LOL!

my wife was sick all this past week and it sucked. i had to do the dishes too, and i didn't even get proper meals unless i went drive thru...but such is life.

I love to cook as well. Good pots and pans? What are they? I cooked up some prime rib last night. 3.5 pound roast, spiced and seasoned to prefection and slow roasted to medium rare. Oh, man.....very good if I do say so myself!!! So tender I could cut it with a fork!
