I am on a budget this month and I want way more guns than I can afford. Maybe I will give up on the sks and yet another lever action and spend all of my money of Mosin's and boxes of ammo.

But I really want an ak too....

Why the hell do I own 8 shotguns>? And why the hell did I just buy a box of steel duck loads for 28$ when I have a box already....

Pheasant starts tomorrow and I will be working so I'll have to hope there are birds left in the fields on sunday so I can walk around for hours with no dog just hoping I creep up on one right to make them flush. Hoping the one the flushes is male because I can't shoot females.

I bought an expensive pse bow this year to go bow hunting with and didn't practice with it worth a shit so I won't be doing that....

Should I try to get a deer this year with my Mosin in the Addirondaks? That would be the icing on the cake.

Mosins will always be around, but whether Obama will finally get around to banning AK's would make me tend to try to get one of those, first.

Fortunately, I already have one.

^ I agree with Gannie. AK's and the SKS will probably be first on the chopping block.

Why must the next lot of MN's coming in be so expensive. The last lot of 91/30's were under Au$400.. this lot will be just under Au$500. And the seller handpicked out 200 from 2000. None are counterbored as he thinks they are rubbish. But what about bringing something in for those of us who can't afford to pay top dollar. He will also be bringing in reproduction scopes and mounts.. for an additional $500. I'd really love to have a scoped 91/30 but if these guns coming in are in such great shape i don't want to mess something up that may be original. Or do i save my money and get cash together and buy 1 privately that comes with no guarantee of shootability and put a scope on it. which would be a pita if it was to be no good.
why must my only choice of milsurp ammo be Albanian crap? I'll have to post pictures but lets say that quality control was a real let down. When i have varying dates on the case heads in a sealed paper pack, and i saw them come out of a fresh can... why are there so many split necks, and the kicker is the one with creases about the shoulders? They may not have been known for reloading their ammo but i think this batch is a case to argue that they were.

Wow Wyld Cat it sounds like you have alot to cuss about. $400.00 AU is overpriced for a nice 91/30. There are several dealers online selling nice 91/30 with all the equipment for $79 to $89 US. There is also a large suply of surplus Bulgarian 7.62 silver tip amoo. I just recently paid $170 us for a sealed crate 880 rounds deliver to my front door. The stuff is in excellent shape and I have not come across a single defective round yet. Sorry to hear it's so expensive to bang off some rounds down under. Come vacation here in the States and I will take out to the range and we can bang away all day for .19 cents a round!

Cheers Michael

&(*^*&%^ my last job ended due to the economy in mid Sep.
My new job starts mid Nov.

Bills don't stop!

My Ruger KP512 is leaving this morning. I don't WANT to sell, but I gotta. My SKS is long gone.

And I probably should have built an Ark. It's been raining it's butt off most of the night.

Dang, getting ready to fly down to Alabama, and it is cold, gray, and windy. Could be a rough trip here.

Safe travels, Gannie! Should be a smooth trip once the plane gets to cruising altitude. Strap in tight and drink heavily!

Dang! We were supposed to A: deliver a couch B: move the welding 'shop' from our former employers building.

Neither thing has happened.

Instead I'm wasting electrons.

Thanks Frenchy! I have this sick feeling that ever replacing guns I sell will be made almost impossible by BHO and the other critters in DC.

Gonna keep a few that are under the radar...

Another reasons Mom's drive you crazy.

I came down home because she got a total knee replacement. She's claiming the morphine is making her feel sick, so she doesn't want to press the button on her morphine pump.

Then she says her leg hurts.

I think it's all in her head. I had two knee replacements and I never got sick.
