OH to be younger again! Or maybe I just learned that pain hurts!

Does sound like you all had a great time! Those roads are very pretty. MUCH prettier when one is going slow enough to enjoy them! But, I remember a trip where I had one afternoon to drive from San Francisco to the redwood forrest and had to be back to the rental car agency by 6pm. I left at 11am. I made it with time to spare!

rock on, that sounds like us....my friend had just bought a new Venom 650R and told me i could drive his old '97 RT-10....he outranked me by 400hp, but i still got away from him once in a while. His 650R had the twin turbos added and it dyno'd at ~950hp, the RT-10 just had the supercharger kit added, which gave it ~100hp. That my friend was a good trip, 5k rpm at 160mph is nice on the straightaways, and better on the highways. Gonna hit the road about midday and hopefully get home in 1 day. I'm still sooo sleepy, but can't sleep. 'yawns'

Hmmmm, I wonder what the fine is for being caught going 160mph? Oh heck, it would be worth it!

I had a zr1 vette up to 140mph once. What a hoot! I am just glad the service manager never found out!

you cant get ticketed if nothing can detect your speed....and with our high range (up to 5miles) radar detectors, GPS beacons telling us where traffic cameras are, traffic camera scramblers(only works on new style cameras, GPS tells us which ones are new or old), laser jammers front and aft(can't be targeted by laser guns in front or behind us)....the only way they could do anything is to catch us first and tell us how fast THEY were going. by the way, a ticket going 160?!? they dont ticket you, by federal law, if you are going more than 40mph over the speed limit, you are arrested and charged with Attempted Vehicular Man-Slaughter....Also, my hp/tq numbers are 450+100=550hp/500tq, i was getting 490whp. His is 650+300=950hp/830tq, and he got 825whp. Also, I just bought me a 97 RT-10....haven't paid for it yet, but will go get it officially this x-mas. Gonna get him to put new tires and do maintenance before I drive it home.

Did 140 or so miles in the passenger seat of my Dad's '01 Ram 1500 today. We never topped 70.

Along the way we picked up a German Eagle stamped Walther PPK that we are supposed to sell for the owner. Gotta google it unless somebody knows....

you're so right "dude"....2-lane straightaways even....the reason i wiped out was because i was driving int he center of the road and about 1/4mile before a turn i hit a lil dimple in the asphalt, causing me to temporarily lose traction....the rest was just "recover recover recover!!!" followed by me changing underwears.

Tex, i really didn't think about taking pics of the cars. i should have, because no pics, it didnt happen. But I'll call him and see if he'll throw some pics up on megaupload or something of the cars. His wife has a fine car too and she drives wilder than the 2 of us combined....altho he beats her every day of the week on the interstate....lambos are overrated, but they do have style. It's a charcoal silver metallic or close(not sure of actual paint name, but kinda looks dark silver with sparkles) and it's a gallardo....i dont like it, cuz it's all wheel drive.

The way the puckers are playing I may just revert back to a Cowboys fan.....if it weren't for Jerry Jones and Wade Phillips.

I used to like you, Swedie.

The main comfort that I have is that the Vikes do look like a Superbowl team. They have so many weapons that it is hard to stop them all. Now that they have a legitimate quarterback the could take it all the way to the big game.

I don't care what anyone says, those cars are mighty sweet! I have never even touch a Lamborgini, let alone driven one but I have sat in a viper. Sweet.

There is a guy in my neighborhood that has a for GT. You can hear and feel the rumble of pure power even before he turns the corner. This guy has a Porche and a vette as well. He told me that the GT is not his favorite because it is too hard to get in and out of. He is over 6 foot. I asked him if he wanted to sell it and he smiled and said "No, I would never sell that car." He knows good metal.

Thankfully I'm not 'wired' to give much of a hoot about football.

I find it much easier to climb up into my truck than to climb up out of a car.

Oh BOTHER said Pooh as he calmy chambered another round.

We heard from my work contact and the contract is hanging over $80,000 on an $8M deal.

We still don't know when it might start and 11/19 does not look as likely as it did.

This annoys me greatly....
