I posted 3 items on Craigslist yesterday (old bottle, outdoor lamp - a nice new one!, and some milk bottle caps), and already I've gotten 7 e-mails. My complaint is they are all SPAM! Doesn't that site take precautions to prevent that crap? What a pain.
Guess I forgot the reason I used to post on there.

After four interviews with 12 people, at the same company (including the CEO) over the past 2 weeks and a trip to Silicon Valley (paid for by me) for 2 face-to-face meetings, I'm keeping my fingers crossed on an offer... waiting is hell.

Woke up this morning, and found my computer did a hard crash last night, and took the sound drivers with it. Still trying to get the sound back. Don't know if I downloaded the right thing here but it is taking FOREVER to install. And it's slowing everything down to a snail's pace while it does install. So far it's flashed up about 7 times that Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software. And it stops installing until I click do it anyways! So I have to sit here while it tries to install. OK, just flashed up that stupid warning ...AGAIN!. How many times will it flash that stupid thing?

If they went to the trouble of doing a background check and the likes on you, Geo, I would not be too concerned about not hearing just yet. Sometimes, if they are using an outside company to verify references it could take a while. Dont' give up hope just yet.
I remember when I was trying to get on with a Fortune 100 company it took forever and a day for the background check to come back...The hold up was that I worked for a company that was no longer in existence. They called me for verification, like a w-2 from a company I worked for 10 years earlier!!! Thank God, I still had the tax returns to show it!!!
