675 rounds of Prvi Partizan 182 grain FMJ Match rounds
$150.00
THATS .22 cents PER ROUND FELLAS

heres another bit of info for y'all
there are actually 4 types of Mosin sniper mounts, not 2
they are:
PT
VP
PE
PU

If any of you have the Mosin handbook someone put on the web in PDF format, VP is the one that is listed as the unknown mount and scope.
How do I know what kind of sniper scope I have on mine?
This is what is listed on the scope.
Scope 1944 (ham&Syc) 91/30 No.15 160112

The Ham& Syc is the Hammer and scyth logo.

Generally speaking, if mounted to the side of receiver, PU. Mounted on the top of receiver PE. But NOT necessarily true.
Mosin Shooter-You are almost correct.

It was Patrick McManus that called it a "Fine and Pleasant Misery." Marriage, gun collecting, putting up with people like Swede, Moose, Marion, Zephri and others.

McManus writes The Last Laugh in Outdoor Life. I think he is truly a classic master of outdoor humor. I look forward to reading everything he writes.

I hate how even know it is an extremely well built and very commonly owned rifle, that almost no one carries ammo for it except for surplus (at least where i live) that is about a 60 mile drive from my house. Also that the real cool true sniper versions are so ungodly expensive. ALSO that the cosmoline they are coated with is an addicting substance that one can't go a few days without feeling otherwise we suffer from withdraws.

I resemble that remark! I come from a long line of BSers. Even my Great grandpappy was good at it. He entered a liar's contest and won more times than he could count. Finally stopped entering because it got embarrassing.
