Us = Greed and jealousy
"Them" = Leftist Socialists (mainly Dems) that think they know what's best for you...
Us  Them
There is no protection from Us. For them there is the NRA and the second ammendment... Support both and the take away scenario is a lesser problem. |

Some thug pulls an illegal handgun from his coat and shoots a police officer in the right arm severely wounding him. The thug walks up and finishes the attack because everyone around runs. (Political comment break.) The Dems say "Take away all handguns!" What would this change? The handgun would still be illegal. The policeman would still be dead.
Another ending to the story: An adult male witnessed the thug fire at the officer and saw him fall. This man/woman was a legal well trained CCW holder. This bystander pulled his/her concealed handgun he is carrying legally and points it at the attacker with full intent to fire. The thug runs instead of shooting the officer again. After a long hospital stay the officer reunites with his wife and children.
Now, Which ending makes sense?

Now, Which ending makes sense? | I am impressed. Great call. I have decided to use my favorite saying as my byline. Thanks to my friend Ron, a retired Police Officer, for this saying: "Remember that when seconds count... the police are only minutes away." |

Here's what I want to moan and whine about. Did you ever try to open one of those 7.62 spam cans to get to the ammo? It's really hard, I'm thinking about using a torch. What do you guys do?

I did it today with a small pair of pliers. about 2 minutes or less. I just picked a small protusion and turned it like an old spam can used to be.
Here is what I hate. I went to Big5 today to pick up my 1941 91/30. The manager forgot his keys at home and couldn't open the case that my rifle was in. I have to wait one more day now. THis sucks.

Our local Big5 gets less than 6 customers at one time. There was only one manager and he was the one that lost the keys. I am surprised they can stay open. I just hoe they dont close down soon so Ican acquire more cheap weapons.

Well, if it does you can still order them. All is not lost. But I do wish there were a BIG5 up here.

You and me both! But I don't think it would change the prices much here. But it would be nice to see some different models!

Well, SS, there are those of us with many Big 5's available to us and we're in the state closest to you. If you were able to make it down here, WA State allows face-to-face private transfers without an FFL-transfer. You could watch the website for a deal on the type you want, I buy it, you come down and buy it from me, you go back. Also, if you really want to (which I don't mind either way) we can do it through an FFL and get it in your name; I know one that does long-rifle transfers for only $15.
For the Mods, this is not a straw-man purchase, as that requires that the recipient of the firearm not be legal to own the firearm.
