Mike- You'll need those, some patches, a couple of rags, and throw in a box of Qtips.

Hey MarineVet,
What Marine Corps were you in? You mean to tell me that you didn't clean cosmoline of your rifle in boot camp? Hell, when I was in Great Lakes, we had to clean cosmoline off of Spr.03A3's just to shoot 20 rnds. then repack them after cleaning them. We had an old gunny for that week of firearms familiarization. We even got to shoot 10 rnds from a 1911a1, then off to adv trng, then off to southeast asia. I got lucky my first DS was Hamburg, Deutschland on the freaking ground. Then abt 6 Mo's in Candyland in the mountains near Laos and Cambodia. I joined the Navy to be 20 miles out to sea, launching VolksWagens on the NV. What happens, I get shot at by guys in black pajamas. Oi Veh.

For the stock I use a black garbage bag

I out the stock in it and put it in the sun, wipe down every few hours.

Dawn dish soap and hot water for the metal, then rinse with hot water.

I used the car wash a few times to clean the metal, worked real well.

Just be sure to put it in a plastic bag when you shower together and another dry bag for bed time. Got plenty of room on your couch?

When you do get around to disassembling it, you'll be amazed how quick and easy it really is!
