First info...

year and arsenal (stamped on the receiver) triangle with arrow=Izhevsk... star with arrow=Tula.

Round receiver or hex?

Then pictures (we do better with pictures).

Mosin Nagants are pretty simple and you will find cleaning instructions and other good info in the stickies at the beginning of this board.

Welcome to the MN board at G&G the addiction has just begun.

Marion, we have a new neighbor for you.

P Morgan don't ya just love the smell of the powder and the loud ka booms LOL...?
yep that thar 45/70 has a wallup in her. Had a good winter this year in the farmers field shooting everything under the sun. The farmers grandson gave me an invite call as i was on this pooter, ya should of seen this old man moving fast, gathering up the guns and jumping on the quad heading for what sounded like a 50 going off. Sure enough when i got there the two youngins, one winding for the other and the fella in prone, hitting filled milk containers some where around 800 yards. Wow i'm in heaven,is it my turn yet is it my turn yet. Just like a little kid. They let me shoot but i didn't do as good as them but came pretty dang close.

Keep them ozarks clean and i'll talk to ya later buddy...............earl
