| Ammo Cans
What is the best ammo can for 7.62x54r? .30 or .50 cal? Also how do I stack it? With the rounds facing eachother?

i use a 30, and it depends on how the rounds are packaged to beginwith, most are in paper rappings but come in doff shapes depending an how many inthe rapping. just try some stuff out and see what works best for you is what i say!

I leave it in the original can until I need it then transfer 50+ rounds to my range bag (small soft-sided cooler). Ammo cans are kindof a pain, unless you have a class III. |

i keep a lot of ammo out in a shed at my parrents farm, i like the ammo cans for a water/air tight seal that keeps my ammo good.

No Class III is for full-auto weapons I believe, you would need it because you would be shooting a machine gun with linked ammo.

We are just adding to your knowlege base. My point was that ammo cans were originally designed to hold linked ammo i.e. Class III license required. So to end your confusion ...Either the .30 or .50 cal ammo cans will work just fine. |

Don't even bother trying to stack the rounds in a .30 cal. can, just dump 'em in there until it's full. Trying to stack them is just an exercise in turd polishing.

| Shouldn't be that hard if they are still wrapped. Of course those paper wrappers are pretty brittle.
