Looking gooood. Still think that you should use polyurethane, but more for water resistance than looks.

By the way guys the finished pics will have the scope mount rubber banded on, so it should look like a nice sniper rifle.

Heres the pics boys, dont say nothin about the first pic, i couldnt find my burlap out in the garage and it was the next best thing. The 9th and 10th pics are the reticle, 9 is kinda bad, buts its there. Looks good. Man, that scope is really clear. Oh, and you forgot to add in the price of that bent-bolt.... unless it came with the 91/30 you bought, then I'm just jealous.

| the gap, that round thing undr the rings? thats so i can use the iron sights at close range, up to 500 yards. Quote:

I'm thinking the rubber bands have solved the mount stabilizing problems. Nice job MS. Very cool.

| I still have to get the reciever drilled and tapped for the PE mount but the rubber band is a good temporary fix for photos.
