wow, i suck, put wrong model number on my big post up there. the correct model number for the Leupold vertical-split rings is: 55850....not 56533.

that 91/30 above....it looks like the "eye-rest" is made for left-hand shooter....is that correct or am i just stoned

Nope, you're right in thinking it's set for LH shooting. Normally, the long side would be on the right side for RH shooting to wrap around the face.

Sorry to dredge this up, I'm new, this is my first post.

I'm looking for a side mount scope setup like the one pictured above. where can i buy the hardware needed for something like that?

I love the way the side mount scopes look, I do not want to get one of the top mounts. is there a side mount setup that can be had on a small budget?
