| Banned | Finnish mosins to choose from I have come across a top find.And i am going to buy my first mosin nagant and its going to be a finn.This is the list of what one bloke has put up for sale.Please have a look and let me know what you think might be the most desirable.I have a fair idea no3 is the most valuable but no1 and no6 are also appealing to me.Give me a hand in my choice.I know a bit about british rifles,bugger all about these lovely rifles. 1) 1941 tikka barreled M91 with Czarist markings and Afghanistan military markings, $450 2) 1917 Sestroryetsk M91 with Czarist markings, $375 3) 1927 tikka stepped barreled M91, one of only 3000 heavy barrelled versions produced, $600 4) 1907 Sestroryetsk M91 with czarist markings, $375 5) 1915 New England Westinghouse M91with Czarist Markings, $375 6) 1940 Tula M91/30 with Finnish '41' and 'D' stamp c/w M91/30 bayonet. $450 All in australian dollars.There have been some advertised in a shooting magazine for a LOT more. |

| Senior Member | I recon it's really tough to bring them in from Australia without an importer's license. But it's fun to think about... Heck, a friend of mine spent about as much (in $US) as that whole MN collection on a Beretta Xtrema shotgun (a helluva shotgun incidentally).
