There are quite a few M38s around down here but they are not the best as far as bore.

UPDATE: I was rereading this thread and realized I left you hanging minkowski! My Bad! As far as I know, the "2" IS a designation for a trainer, but is normally found forward of the rear sight, and also on the stock. That is all I know.
