Mosin Lovers, Help Again!
The damn gun shop keeps getting pretty things!!
So, today I went in and this morning they got in a Finnish original 1891 mosin with "B barrel", and a M39 that is a "B barrel". Both are 1942 model, both are in very good condition. Bores are bright, and not worn very badly. Both have all matching numbers minus the floorplate and butt plates. Both will be $289... |

whats the "B" barrel mean?
I would snap up Finnish Mosins given the chance though.

Hey Steve, I think this one is an actual Finnish '91.
I was reading up on 7.62x54r.net and came across this page Finnish M91 That is exactly the rifle. It just has the '42 Finn B barrel, so I guess they used an old Russian '91 and a new Belgian barrel. I hope this doesn't mean I have to buy another gun... ![]() |

The M39 B barrel is priced 90 bucks below Wholesale... That is a STEAL...I got 380 + in my M39 B... Rich
