Would a recipe for baked beans as a side dish count? I know it doesn't involve stalking and making a kill, but it's something that goes well with lots of outdoor foods.

Your very first kill in the field? What was the story tell us, it's really worth sharing! What of the meal? Was it just beenie weenies and some stale bread or was it something more? My friends everything tastes better in the great outdors from simple breakfast foods to a roasted tenderloin. What I want is to preserve and share those memories and perhaps influence one anti-hunter/fisherman that it is far more than just the kill.
Not anti-hunting here... just lazy. Fishing yes... I can do that with a 6-pack in realtive comfort.

I could rig the 91/30 with a reel, catch em and stick em, or for the big ones (yeah right) shoot em.

I hunted for many years both bow and rifle. Then discovered the super market meat counter... I quit bringing my rifle to the store on the third trip.

i got a perfect baked beans recipe, and there's no side effects, like farts.

1) make baked beans
2) mix Beano in while hot
3) enjoy....also works with hot peppers, cuz we all hate flaming prairie dogs ROFL

Well I got a gud reciepepe for twig and pebble soup. Ya think they would like that. Its kinda a heartwarming story going out in the woods with the family gathering twigs and pebbles. Once in a while you can toss some leaves in there. Ummm Umm makes my mouth water.
