91/30 vs m38

so i went out and shot my 91/30 and have to say i fell in love. dont want to change anything about it. so heres my thought by another 91/30 and convert to sniper or pickup a m38. how is the m38 compared to the 91/30

The basic collection is:

M91/30
M38
M44
M39 (optional but necessary)

After that you are "a collector of Mosin Nagants".

Dang I still need an M38 to be a collector. Guess all my hard work so far is for nought.

Don't know if you have your C&R, but if you do, chack SouthernOhioGun.com They have them. They will likely be counter-bored but most seem to be.

I havent seen a 91x59 in months..
As fars M38's anyting under 150 or around there isnt a bad price if it looks half way decent in the bore and blueing.. seen a few on line for around a 100 bucks but never bought one
mine came from a place in Illlinois called Simpsons

SOG price is $89.95 ($84.95 for 2 or more).

If you are planning to get serious about MilSurp's get an 03-FFL. The best $30 you can spend...
