7.62 X 54R BRASS

Does anybody have a good, cheap (relatively) source for brass for my Mosins? I have dies, bullets, powder---gut I don't see any affordable brass. Graf & Sons had some Prvi but they are out of stock and I can't afford Lapua.
Thanks in advance.

I use Winchester. I buy it locally, but it's surely available online somewhere.

Smokewagon Gear has fully loaded boxer primed rounds for 5 bucks per bag of twenty. That's 25 cents a round for fully loaded rounds you can reload once you fire them. Can't think of a much better deal to acquire some. You may also look at ammobrasstrader.com if you have any other calibers to trade, or want to buy some outright.

SN..... I take it you don't reload.

Smokin', How much do you want for the brass? I'm not sure I can afford all of it, so will you sell less than the whold lot? If I can I will take all of it.
Gandog, thanks also

How about sending some of that brass this way as well SN? I can always use more.

Let me know shipping.

Not licensed, since you weren't selling it. Just restricted in how you can ship it.

Funny, I just traded a bunch of empties at ammobrasstrader.com because I have TOO many empties. My shoulder says I can't shoot more than about 100 rounds anyways, if you know what I mean.

Although you picked a heck of a round to reload. Using a reloading calculator I got a cost of reloading this round at 34.61 cents a round. You can find much milsurp at around 20 cents a round. If it wasn't for the fact I can make much more accurate ammo for my guns, I wouldn't even bother. I still don't for 7.62X39 or .223 Rem.

These? 7.62x54r surplus ammunition - misc 7.62x54r 20rd bag xsurp762x54r

I like the better accuracy aspect, plus the non-corrosive thing.

No big hurry SN, and thanks. Let me know what the shipping costs. I generally go through 100-150 rounds per outing as I generally bring 2 or 3 MN's to the range, so if I put 50 rounds through each...

I don't really like shooting corrosive MilSurp if I don't have to, and have started using some decaped bullets for reloading. Most of the 180gr. Czech and Bulgarian Milsurp bullets are very consistant in weight and surprisingly accurate. Next time out I will try reusing some of the powder as well... $0.15 a round without corrosive primers.

Don't think so, they have Berdan primers, I believe. Look inside with a flashlight, if there's two primer flash holes they're scrap.

Well, that's what they say. But I've been told not to trust that any milsurp ammo is n/c.
