For these days that's a heckuva deal. I remember seeing them at gunshows about 15 years ago for 19.00 and didn't like them. I wish I'd bought all I could find now.

technically when i got mine, original price beat evryone......i traded a single shot .410 for it and i had only paid $18 for the shotgun.... tho i had to get a bolt for it cuz the mosin was missing a bolt....and the barrel was full of rust.....its the one in all my pics now with the lowpro scope and bipod

I saw a russian mail order bride catalog and they were running a special, Free Mosin with every order. I got two.

Billy: If you have experience with various businesses, can you send me a pm about who sells the better MN 44s now? Or which distributor to avoid? Just really good metal condition and wood that is not chipped etc...
Just a basic Russian-don't need extra accessories, but the standard strap might be nice.
My 44 might need a twin soon.
