ok so its not really new to me since i had it for about a year now.(bought frome gander mountain) but i just joined the forum and figured i would ask a question.
its a 1944 dated m44, shiny bore, exellent shooter!

my reciever seems like it has alot of markings on it compared to my friends mosin. oh and my serial number starts with PA, but the A
here is it but mine looks more rounded off at the top and at the botttom of it looks like this [...but sideways ofcourse.
in russian the PA transfers to RD, what does this mean? ive heard about the ones marked E but never knew why it mattered. thanks alot any info is appreciated
