Question Mosin Nagant Asking Price

Ok my mosin is always shooting to the right and way high and i have tried everything to fix it. making the front sight taller, trying to drift the front sight which wont budge, shooting with the bayonet on and off...anyways, if i cant fix it within the next few days then i might be selling it or trading it off. I have bent the bolt because i put a mount on it for a scope. the mount is wayyyy offset to the left though which is why i took it off. i left the rail on though because the rifle doesnt look right without it since i took the wood off in order to mount it. the bolt was made by a machinist friend..ive tried loc tighting it with two different brands and strengths. It doesnt seem to want to stay sturdy though. Im sure it can be fixed though. the bolt works perfectly fine even if it doesnt stay exactly in place. i have sanded down, stained, and refinished the stock. IN THE PICTURES, THE AREA OF THE BOLT FROM THE BOLT BODY TO THE BOLT HANDLES BEND IS ABOUT TWICE AS LONG AS IT IS NOW. i didnt like how it looked being that long so i cut some off and the lenth from the bend of the bolt handle itself to the bolt body is about half as long as it is in these picures. by the way all numbers on the rifle are matching except the bayonet. the rifles number is 1259. the bayonet is 8000 something

SO...i need an aproxamate asking price for this, the rifle, the package that it came with(the tool, the bayonet, the magazine pouches, the tool pouch, and some rod things that i havent payed much attention to), the rail from kalinka optics(retail $25), the mount from kalinka optics(retail $70), and roughly 175 rounds of czech 147 grain steel core light ball ammunition.

Try to work out your problem before going and selling it. Hopefully you can diagnose it.

I would put the rail back on and put it on gunbroker for 200 no reserve and see what happens. Explain the issues you are having in the description. They just might get in a bidding war! If you are not attached to the scope I would include the scope as well. That would help it sell. JHMO.

That's sure a nice looking rifle, too bad you can't make it shoot straight. Why not keep it for parts if nothing else?

If it's refinished and had a scope mount put on it...I'd offer nothing. Not sure how much a bubbaed MN is compared to a original condition one.

Well if it's "custom" I'd place it at auction for about 1,000$ then!
LOL as P.T. Barnum said "There's one born every minute"
"The "rare" sniper m44, only 100 made in Russia, paid 1,200$ for it, must sacrifice at 1,000$"

What I mean is he didn't take a hacksaw to it and chop the stock or barrel down. He simply refinished the wood which could be redone to an original type finish.

I realize the scope mount mod is permanent but could be covered up with screw hole plugs and a replacement stock just like the ex snipers were.

Bubbas are renown for making changes that can't be undone and do next to nothing to improve the rifle, outside of making it handier for fat azzed Bubba to carry to the deer stand.

And your point is? Do you really think you can shame members out of changing there rifles original configuration? Did you have a rare Mosin and someone ridicule you for not refinishing it or adding a scope or something?
