Will a Model 91 front blade fit a Model 91/30?

I've never really throught about this; but the one thing I don't like about Natasha is her issue 91/30 front sight. A major reason behind my scoping her was the amount of fuzz my astignatic eyes find around her front post.

The Model 1891 I have has a front blade, of course, and I find it much easier to see that than the 91/30 post.

Can the hooded front post be removed and replaced by a Model 1891 unhooded blade without any modifications? Will the dovetail in the blade fit the 91/30's block as a simple change-out, or not?

Before I bid on the part, I'd like to have some reassurance I'm not wasting my money buying it.

The dovetail is the same. The big problem will be that the M91 sight is much too short so the rifle will shoot way too high.

The m91 front sight is not a post, it is a blade, so I don't think this would work.

Maybe a Finnish double stack blade like on some of the Finn 91/30's would fit.
