New Jersey politicos

I know it's not the forum for this, but while watching a pro-dem nominee campaign ad they said the "other guy" voted to keep legal "armor piercing rifles" can anyone 'splain to me just what these are? Are they super case hardened rifles that you can thrust through armor like a sword? Better yet, where can I get one of 'em?

I think they's talking about them new rifles what's built on Coruscant using Jedi technology. At rest, they look like a buttstock and an action with a forearm but no barrel. When you are ready to shoot, you flick on the barrel switch and this hollow energy tube is emitted by the rifle, and then your blaster bolt goes down the tube and on out downrange with no loss of energy to the air 'cause the energy tube keeps it focused.

The Empire developed them things for the Imperial Stormtroopers to cut out the need for bayonets and plasma torches for boarding parties. As far as I ever heerd, they didn't get issued much. Too many accidents in the assault boat, ya see.

This also comes from the same idiots that believe that hollow points penetrate bullet proof vests, and weapons with a "barrel shroud" should be banned.

It makes you wonder how braindead and completely clueless anti-gunners really are.

I don't think they're as ignorant as that. I think they will say anything or use any rhetoric to get their point across.

Unfortunately the three main players are butt holes and we have to make the choice of the lesser evo keep it safe in WVils. That doesn't stop the gun grabbing kreptards in the state assembly and senate. Gun Control in this state seems to be a bargaining agent

There are so many gun laws in NJ that police don't even know what they are trying to arrest you for and cannot enforce the important ones. What gets me going is I can own a mini 14 but I had to send my fathers M1 carbine to my father in law to keep it safe in WV.

I was going along with this until I saw he has posted this exact same message in multiple forums, making him a spammer in my book.

Doesn't exactly make him a spammer. Perhaps he's a regular user of multiple forums, and didn't want to leave any people out that only used primarily one forum.

Gandog, I'm just a guy who loves his guns and the right to own those guns (even though my current state of residence isn't much better than NJ in this respect) I saw something that I thought would evoke some good responses and decided to post it in several of the forums. I view spam as useless irrelevant crap which serves no purpose; I don't think this post falls into that category. Btw, since you responded in the same manner to this post in a few of those forums, by your definition, isn't that spamming??? I didn't intend on pissing off anyone and in the event that an admin deems these posts as spam I invite a PM from them and will respect their decision. I think this was a one time thing anyway, so please don't get too bent about it.

I'm a Devil's Advocate. I make it a habit to look at ALL sides and reasonable possibilities.

And yes, 10th Mountain does indeed rule. Division with the highest number of deployments, and soon to be the longest deployed!
