didja see the $1950. SMLE parts gun!!! no wonder gun prices are sky high, i truly believe the inter-net auctions are responsible for such jumps!!! and what even more strange, is there are folks who will PAY those prices!!! |

There are idiots on Gunbroker who charge over $200 for a refurbed Mosin when others sell them for $119. It does make you wonder, doesn't it?

yeah,kind of funny how some of these guys will get their c&r, buy up a bunch of cheap mil-surps from Century, SOG, WGand A, etc. then go to a show and try to sell them for more than twice what they paid for them. the one that really takes the cake is the guy that owns a small shop about 30 miles from here-he's got a national match garand that is, admittedly, a beautiful piece until you get to the $13,000 price tag! heck, Ellisons' has several sec. of navy garands complete w/presentation cases and paperwork for less than $4000. he also sells I/O m-44's for 179.95 (well,he tries, anyway. LOL)

I bought a Yugo SKS in excellent condition from SOG for $159.00. Went to Cabela's and they have a USED Norinco SKS for $399.00!!!!!! Rather have my Yugo anyday! :right:
