| billy my son considered the one you have pictured in his work but got one with a stock instead model 50660. I love that breaching thing on the barrel it adds to the intimadation of the shotgun. I wouldn't want to be Jabbed with that thing LOL. The model my son bought butt stock is to long so he's considering an after market one. Hogue has one in the Cabela's catalog thats overmolded youth size that might work for him. The Gun Source was the cheapest price I found anywhere for his. I tired my local sources, where they get there firearms were out of stock. Even Mossberg was out...A.H EDIT: billy if you get this gun let us know how it compares to the RangingBull as far as kick. I shot some 3'' mags # 1's Buck shot in my 24" barrel Mossberg semi auto last Thursday. I can't imagine what it would feel like in a hand held shotgun. It will be alsum...A.H Last edited by ArkansasHunter; 11-18-2007 at 09:28 AM. |

| Just find a used, nut not abused plain jane model 500 in 12ga, say on gunbroker.com or one of the many other auction sites or from a local dealer and convert it. An 18" security barrel with cylinder choke and bead site, around $70 bucks. You can get an ATI collapsible stock for around $50-$60 bucks. You also might consider the Mossberg JIC ( Just in Case) series. They go for around $275-$400. Not sure if they all or none have the breach piece on it. These two models don't. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=88896057 GunBroker.com guns: Mossberg 500 JIC Just in Case Sandstorm 12 gauge (item: 89281716 ends: Jan-20-08 04 04 PM)G-Meister
