| Super Moderator ![]() | I held one yesterday for the second time. Seems like a decent rifle. First one I held felt barrel heavy, and both had the synth stocks. I don't have an explanation as to why it felt better yesterday, but it felt fine. I like the fact that it's a detachable mag that can be fed while in the rifle. The bolt head is similar to Savage but doesn't have an idler lug. So it's more like a cross between the Savage and the push feed Winchester M70s.

| Just saw a 4X4 in 7 mm Rem Mag with the synthetic stock for $280 at a gun shop. The gun looked pretty sweet. If I feel the need to add a high powered mag I could see another Mossberg in my cabinet. |
