Plinkster 802 - 11 Rounds

My daughter proved, inadvertantly, that you can get 11 rounds in a Plinkster's 10 round mag. I know for a fact that the chamber was empty when she reloaded.

Without any special ?hooo-doing? 1 in chamber and 10 in the mag.

Double check; for safety.

Without realizing; she, you, them, those, may inadvertently left one in the chamber.

Double and triple check with the Magazine when you are sitting around this evening while it's all fresh.

Nope, I swear there was NOT one in the chamber. I have it on video where she tried to shoot it and it would not fire, three times with her trying to chamber the first round. I went over (then off camera) to find out why the gun wasn't firing and the magazine wasn't snapped all the way in. Had there been a round in the chamber it would have fired. I snipped the part where it wouldn't fire off the video.

Get her to load some while you and she are sitting about. See her make it load 11. Don't force her just follow along with a grin.

My reason for making a bigger deal than needs to be;

We know it only hold 10; so we shoot 10 and carry around a very very live dangerous firearm.

Knowledge is your mine hers them and those only safety.

I will definately be paying close attention. I didn't know she shot 11 until after I dumpted the video to the computer. When I was watching it I counted ten, not really thinking about it, then she shot one more time.

My 20 shot clip for my ruger mini 14 holds 21 in the clip so it is not an uncommon thing for them to hold an extra.

Yep, and a lot of SKS carbines will hold 11 in the ten-round magazine too.

My son got 11 in my 802 plinkster's mag once. I've tried several times but can't do it. Must be his "know it all" knowledge! Just kidding! I think it is in there must be a little play inside and if loaded just right...11 shots!

I watched my daughter do it the other day as easy as pie, then on the next reload I tried it and couldn't do it. Must be a kid thing.
