Congrats to Mossburg

Checked out their website and was really surprised by their current
line of products. Advise others to do the same as this firm
has really expanded creatively in their other product designs.

And personally, I like some of what Mossberg has. Like to see them start making some bolt actions in bigger calibers.

The new lines are side by sides and o/u's.They are re-introducing the
1000 series semi-autos which I think are made in Turkey now and look
like twins of Weatherby's model.I think "they"(S&W) made them in the70's/80's but were made by Howa or another Japanese manufacturer.
I've only seen pix,but have not handled/shouldered one at an lgs.
Hope that's as clear as mud.

I've got the 702 Plinkster in black stock no thumb hole/ blued barrel. Very smooth, very accurate, no jambs. It's not a pleasant job to totally dismantle it for very fine cleaning. You have to remove two pins, not too hard, but getting all the loose pieces back in place and then re-pinning it is no fun! I'd like to try the new Mossberg leaver action 30-30 next.
