Got a pair of 500A's a 12 and a 20 gauge. (Are they still a pair if they're different gauges?) I absolutley love them, they mostly see pheasant and quail hunting duty I've never had a single problem.
One day I'd like to sell the 20ga and buy a 590, how do you 590 owners like yours?
I've got one as well. I bought mine used for $300. It was originally owned by a local LEO and he kept it in the back of his car most of the time. Now it's my go-to gun that I keep by my bed.
Lucked out at gun show today. Picked up a 590 with a light, ghost ring sight, sling, carries 6 side saddle and 4 in the stock. Never had one before or a home defense shotgun either, so I think it will work, but only time will tell.
I have a 590 Mariner that I bought about 4 years ago, never shot it. It was bought to keep at my beach property in Delaware. No longer have the property.
It's for sale if anyone is interested at $450.00 including shipping to your FFL. It comes with full stock, pistol grip, Mossberg heatshield and padded nylon sling.
I own a 590 and it augments my SA SOCOM MK I very well. Just want to add a light, rifle or Ghost ring sights, a side saddle shell holder, and possibly a speed feed stock for my tastes if ever possible. Until then, it will always be my # 1 HomeDefense Wpn.
I only have the Mossberg 500...shown in the attachment below. It's my new favorite turkey hunting gun since I'm sort of retiring my Browning Sweet Sixteen.
