| They are each good in their own right
However, I would give the edge to the Tikka as it is a bolt action mated to a SAKO barrel. The barrel is something that cannot be overlooked. However, there is nothing wrong with the Mossberg and certainly nothing wrong with the somewhat similar new Marlin XL-7. |

I'd point you towards the Tikka. You may also want to consider a Savage or Stevens, insanely accurate for the $$ you spend.

Tikka is one awsome firearm,Although the Mossberg is made in the U.S.A. American manufacturers need all the support we the American citizens can give!!! BUY AMERICAN!!!!!!
