| What's it worth?
An old co-worker of mine came by work 2 days agco needing money. Has a Moss. mod 500 Youth .410 pump for sale in 90% condition. Would it be worth the $200.00 he is asking for it?

Doubt it, full size 12g 500s can be had for 250-320ish. A maverick 88 made by moss are even cheaper tho not as nice im told.

Blue Book of Gun Values lists them at $135. and up.Mostly around $155. ,,,sam.

Well, he stopped by before I could get back to this post & see what the comments were. I bought it anyway. I was wrong on the 90% condition. It has one, and only one small nick on the butstock .382" in leingth & .10" ish wide. Thats it. Otherwise in perfect shape. He told me it was a youth model, it is not. It does have the 24" ful choke barell with 2 beads ( small gold bead 1/2 way up the bbl, and a white front bead) but the leingth of pull is full size. WITH A RECOIL PAD !!!!!! LMAO!!!!!! I would like to remove the pad & have a plastic plate installed if any are avalable. Well, she has a new home anyway. I seem to be, un intentionally, growing a shotgun colection. :-)
