| Copper Jackets What is the purpose of copper jackets on saboted bullets? I had assumed the purpose of copper jackets was to prevent leading of the bore, but to be honest, I guess I really don't know what the purpose of jacketing is. Anyone willing to share some insight on this matter? msj

| To keep the bullet intacked. So it dosen't desentagrate. Like any other bullet. Just a lead bullet will work in ML's but by using a jacket it will go in deeper and not expand so much.
