Colt/clone 1860 loose pin

I have a steel frame "EMF" 1860 .44 colt/clone with a loose cylinder base pin "I guess that would be inaccurate as base pins are removable but this pin is fixed to the frame some how so it would be a cylinder axel pin?"
The pin wiggles some, How are these pin's affixed to the frame?

I have 2 1851's (Pietta) I don't know that they are loose, but if they come out that would be a problem. When you put the wedge back in the barrel will draw up the pin and I don't think it will be a problem. Call or email the mfg to get a definative answer to your question.
