Angry Shots going high

I'm trying to learn to shoot one handed, in case my other hand is wounded. My shots consistently go high. The "circle of dishonor" says this means I'm breaking my wrist up. Any suggestions? Are there exercises I can do to strenthen my wrists?
Regards,
Shane

Yep....sounds like your grip to me. Make sure you have a good solid grip. Are you shooting strong hand or week hand? Be sure to practice both ways.

Keeping the gun in line with your arm? Hand high on the grip? Body turned enough?

Guys-
Thanks for your responses.
I'm trying to teach myself point shooting from "Bullseyes don't shoot back" by Col. Applegate.
Yes, I think my gun is aligned with my forearm and my grip is high enough, Applegate makes major points out of both of these.
Not sure what you mean, wes, when you ask about being turned enough. Are you referring to the Weaver stance?
Regards,
Shane

Personally, I shoot with my body squared up to the target. I started shooting with my hips cocked sideways towards the target, I think this is called the Weaver stance, but modern LEO's are being taught to square up to the target....which is the isscoles I believe.

THANKS FOR SUGGESTIONS

Yes, it sounds like you've been taught isoceles. What struck me though, was everything you said in both posts agrees with Col. Applegate's teaching for "point" or "instictive" shooting.
Thanks for the reminders.
The problem only happens when I'm trying to shoot one handed.
Regards,
Shane

Turned body. Right hand shooting, right foot just a bit ahead of left foot, good balance, not strained.
I've been a Weaver shooter for years and now I'm TRYING to learn the modern isoceles, sure feels weird to me.
