A bolt-action .22 is about the lowest-maintenance gun in the world.

Get a cleaning rod, patches and rod tip, and some solvent. Remove the bolt and clean the bore from breech to muzzle (back-to-front).

A few passes with a solvent-dipped patch will keep your gun shooting indefinitely.

A bit of gun oil on a cotton cloth will keep the outside rust free. Enjoy.

ive got one and LOVE it!
good choice indeed.
when i 1st got it i cleaned it very well to get the factory preservative grease out of it .
and havent touched it with a rod since.
i use a boresnake.
the less i touch the crown the happier i am.

it's the best shooter ive got, and ive got some good ones.
