Thumbs up Gun Laws in South Carolina

Hello all,
I am not all that new to firearms as i have sold them for a number of years for various companies. my question is this:

I have just moved to South Carolina and i have been looking on line for the gun laws and such. as I am coming from Georgia, the laws seem VERY similar, BUT if there is anyone out there that can inform me on the laws here, that would be great... also, i like knives too... in Georgia, we use the hand rule. (smaller than 3 inches is okay...) what is it here in South Carolina?

I'm in Greenwood; what part are you residing in? The laws are pretty relaxed here. Not sure on knives, though.

Cool

thanks... as i have said. i have searched the net and came up with alot of good info. i was just asking for some good advice... and i got some. my searches came up with information that made me wonder why South Carolina doesn't reciprocate Georgia's CCW, but i suspect it has something to do with the required class. again, thank you for your help.

i live off of Hwy 85 just below Greenville.
