Favor please, Nikon Prostaff scope

Would someone please do me a favor. If you have a Nikon Prostaff 4x32 or 2-7x32, look at your adjustment settings ring under the cap. Which adjuster is labeled "U"/"D" or "L"/"R", the top vs the one on the right? I'm having a problem with mine. Also what does lining up the slot in the scale ring with the dot do? Thanks, Don

The top generally adjusts your elevation and the right, or left I guess it could be on, adjusts your windage... Is that what you're wanting to know? And I could be wrong but clockwise moves it up and counter clockwise down I believe? And for windage usually to the left left and to the right right??? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong and is this what you're asking and wanting to know???

Thanks, I agree with you. But their illustration that came with the scope labels the top adjuster as windage and the right side one as elevation, which is why I'm getting screwed up trying to zero this thing in! Don

Well move one or the other and count the clicks so you know how many to go back the other way with and see which part of the reticle moves. Good luck.
