| gun vise.. Ok, I have been thinking about buying a gun vise lately. I would use it to hold my rifles while cleaning them, accessorising and working on them. I think it would be handy to have instead of just laying the gun on its side. Is there a brand or a type that I should look for? Now, to show my inexperience on the subject... I have also seen some guys at the range with similar set-ups, but for sighting in rifles. They usually have adjustments to go up and down, and to go left and right. I am also interested in one of these set-ups. Do these usually hold the rifle tight, or (as it looks) does it just sit in there? Once again, is there a specific brand or type that I should look for? Or, is there one that can do this all, and more??? Thanks in advance..

| rifle rests are for sighting in, making small adjustments, the gun basically rests in them. midway sells a gun vise and it works well for cleaning, bedding and other minor rifle work. |
