| Mr. Fixit ![]() | Abilene Grip Works almost open for biz! Well guys, I'm almost ready to kick start Abilene Grip Works. I'm working on my website and trying to get some grips in the hands of a few trusted members for review before officially opening the doors, so-to-speak. If all goes as planned, I will be offering custom made-to-order pistol grips in your choice of material and will do my best to address any fitting preferences as well. As soon as it's up and running, I'll post a link to my website but if you have any questions before then, you can PM me here or e-mail me @ toolman@phreego.com .

| Mr. Fixit ![]() | Right now I can provide almost any domestic or exotic hardwood, ivory, mother-of-pearl, or synthetic material and can do inlays and custom fitting as well. Being as my full time job is driving trucks, I am not offering checkering, carving, or scrimshaw at this time with the exception of offering checkering if there is no time limit (within reason, of course). I am sort of specializing in west Tx. mesquite burl due to its' striking grain patterns, extreme toughness, and the fact that it's not seen every day. I hope to be posting some pics when I get a better camera. These are all one-off grips and with a few exceptions are made to order and may require your factory grips and descriptions or sketches of any flaws in fit or improvements that you desire ie: thicker, thinner, different contours, wrap-arounds, etc. I will be offering a full money-back guarantee. If you don't like the grips after receipt for any reason, you will have the option of returning them for modification until satisfied or collecting your purchase price. All shipping will be paid by me. Pricing has yet to be set, but will not be prohibitive and will be based on materials and complexity.

| Mr. Fixit ![]() | O.K. guys, I'm looking for grip patterns and am offering a free set of grips in exchange for the use of your originals. The deal works like this: If they are of a type that I need, you send me your originals and I make a set of reference grips and return yours-usually within a few days. I will then build you a set in your choice of wood and fitting preference. I don't need full-sized 1911's but could use all other sizes. In some instances, I may not be able to offer the free grips depending on how popular they may or may not be but can build anything you need. E-mail me @ trich@abilenegripworks.com or call me @ 325-518-1214. Thanks, Tim
