Hear hear. lol. I also double up with plugs and muffs. If I only wear one I sure as hell can tell the difference. Also at a range shooting I dont all ways know when someone will cork one of so I put the plugs in as soon as I get there and muffs over top when I know some one is shooting.

Generally if the safety glasses meet the OSHA specs that is all that's needed. Clear is usually the all around use color, amber/yellow cuts down haze. Make sure they fit properly. For hearing protection foam plugs with muffs give the best protection. You can spend lots of money to get the best looking muffs, plugs, glasses or a lot less for induc=strial looking stuff but check out the specs to mae sure they should work well.
