Lightbulb M39 antique recievers

I have a Sest'ky 1896 action with a 1944 Sako barrel. Are the M39 stock's s# to the recievers, or can I find a Sako stock to match the barrel;will that detract from the collictability of the rifle?

thanx infer

I have only got one M-39 although I wouldn't mind another they are very nice shooting guns. Not too sure about the answer to your question but try posting it on www.gunboards.com/forums/ in the collectors forum.
